Ed Stoppard is an English actor. He had his career beginnings in the early 2000s, initially appearing in such films as The Little Vampire, The Pianist, and Ferrari. He also guest-starred in such TV shows as Relic Hunter, Queen of Swords, and Murder in Mind. He later had roles in the films Joy Division, Fugitive Pieces, and Brideshead Revisited. In the 2010s, he starred in some miniseries, including Upstairs, Downstairs, Zen, and The Politician’s Husband. He then portrayed Brian Epstein in the miniseries Cilla. In 2015, he starred as Will Campbell in the TV series Home Fires. He next played the role of Lord Daniel Hervey in The Frankenstein Chronicles. From 2017 to 2019, he portrayed Philip IV of France in the History Channel series Knightfall.
