Edward Norton was born on August 18, 1969 in Boston, Massachusetts, USA. He made his debut film in 1996 when he played a supporting role in the film Primal Fear. His performance won him critical acclaim that he was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor.

In 1998, he wowed critics and audiences alike for his lead role in the film American History X, for which he received an Academy Award nomination for Best Actor.

He has since starred in such films as Everyone Says I Love You, Fight Club, 25th Hour, The Illusionist, The Italian Job, and The Incredible Hulk, among others.
