Actress Elisabeth Röhm had her career beginnings appearing as an extra in 1997’s Deconstructing Harry. That same year, she made her first television role as Dorothy Hayes in the soap opera One Life to Live. She later appeared in the miniseries Eureka Street and gained recognition for her role as Kate Lockley in the TV series Angel. After this, she starred as Alison Jeffers in the TNT show Bull.
From 2001 to 2005, she became best known for starring as ADA Serena Southerlyn in the NBC series Law & Order. She received two SAG nominations for her performance here. Later in 2005, she starred as Agent Janet McKaren in the action-comedy film Miss Congeniality 2: Armed and Fabulous. She also had recurring roles in such shows as Big Shots and The Mentalist. From 2009 to 2010, she played the role of Lauren Gilmore in Heroes. In the 2010s, Röhm became more active on the big screen.
During this period, she had roles in such films as A Christmas Kiss, Abduction, Transit, Officer Down, and American Hustle. At the same time, she continued acting on TV, playing FBI Special Agent Dana Landon in Beauty & the Beast and starring as Amanda Taylor in Stalker. She next had roles in the movies Joy, Love Is All You Need?, The Tribes of Palos Verdes, and Wish Upon. Between 2017 and 2019, she played Eileen in Jane the Virgin. As of 2018, she plays recurring character Aria Price in the web series The Oath.
Elisabeth Röhm follows a fairly healthy lifestyle, starting with her food choices. Her diet plan mainly consists of clean, whole foods that are both nourishing and strengthening. In an interview, she got candid about her food preferences and they’re mostly healthy. Asked about her dietary regimen, she said: “Breakfast: Green juice and coffee, from Rejuice. Lunch: The Kick-Ass Tempeh Sandwich and beet juice, also from Rejuice. Dinner: Anything Italian, a la my mom’s Sicilian roots — especially at Via Veneto in Santa Monica.”
