Biography:

Elisabetta Canalis was born on September 12, 1978 in Sassari, Italy. She Università degli Studi di Milano in Milan where she studied foreign languages although she did not finish her degree.

She started her career as a showgirl in the television show Striscia la Notizia from 1999 to 2002. She then made her first film appearance with a small role in Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo, followed by the film Virgin Territory.

She also became a host when she took over in the Italian version of Total Request Live in MTV Italia. In 2010, she played a recurring role in the American television series Leverage.
