Biography:

Ellen Wong was born on January 13, 1985 in Scarborough, Toronto, Ontario, Canada. She attended Ryerson University where she studied radio and television arts.

While still in college, she obtained a role in the TV series This Is Wonderland, followed by Runway and Unnatural History. In 2010, she landed the role of Knives Chau in the film Scott Pilgrim vs. the World, which marked her breakthrough.

She also starred in the 2012 movie Silent Night, and the following year, got the part of Jill “Mouse” Chen in the teen series The Carrie Diaries.
