Biography:

Ellie Kendrick was born on June 6, 1990 in London, England. She started her acting career during her teens and also spent time in National Youth Theatre. Her screen debut was in 2004 with one-episode appearances on the British shows Waking the Dead and Doctors. Her next role was in the 2006 TV movie Prime Suspect: The Final Act.

She gained wider recognition in 2009 when she portrayed Anne Frank on the BBC miniseries The Diary of Anne Frank. She was nominated for a Satellite Award for Best Actress – Miniseries or Television Film for her performance. That same year, she made her big screen debut in the film An Education. Further prominence came in 2013 when she started playing Meera Reed on Game of Thrones.
