Elliot Cowan is an English actor whose career started in the early 2000s. Initially, he had one-time roles in Judge John Deed and Jonathan Creek. He next played Corporal Jem Poynton in the ITV series Ultimate Force. Later in 2004, he made his cinematic debut playing the role of Ptolemy in the film Alexander. This was followed by performances in the movies Love and Other Disasters and The Golden Compass. He also starred in the TV movies Dirty Filthy Love, The Ruby in the Smoke, and The Mark of Cain. In the 2010s, Cowan became further known for his portrayal of Lorenzo de’ Medici in the television series Da Vinci’s Demons. He recently played Henry VII, King of England in the miniseries The Spanish Princess.
