Elliott Gould is an American actor. He started his acting career in the 1960s. His performance of Ted in the film Bob & Carol & Ted & Alice earned him an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor. In 1970, he starred as Capt. “Trapper” John Francis Xavier McIntyre in MASH, for which he got Golden Globe and BAFTA nominations. Between 1975 and 1980, he appeared as a host in Saturday Night Live. In the 1990s, he played Jack Geller in Friends, as well as starred as Jack Kacmarczyk in the TV series Getting Personal. He also starred as Harry Greenberg in the film Bugsy. In the 2000s, he played Reuben Tishkoff in Ocean’s Eleven and its sequels. More recently, he played Ezra Goldman in Ray Donovan, Oscar in Mulaney, Isaiah Roth in Doubt, and Harry in 9JKL.
