Biography:

Emily Bett Rickards was born on July 24, 1991 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. She attended the Vancouver Film School where she completed the Acting Essentials Program.

She first appeared in the music video of “Never Gonna Be Alone” by Nickelback. After a number of minor roles, she came to prominence after being cast as Felicity Smoak in the television series Arrow.

Originally cast as a one-episode guest star, her chemistry with the male lead resulted in her becoming a recurring character, and eventually becoming a regular character in its second season.
