Biography:

Emily Cox was born on 23 February 1985 in Vienna, Austria. She developed an interest in acting during her high school years. After she graduated, she attended Max Reinhardt Seminar to train in acting. She then started performing in theater. In 2009, she made her film debut in Dutschke. She next appeared in the German film Rammbock.

She went on to have performances in the movies The Fatherless, Futuro Beach, and The Silent Mountain. Cox ventured into Hollywood, first debuting in an episode of Homeland. During this period, she also gained recognition for starring as Brida in the British series The Last Kingdom, a role she still plays up to present.
