Biography:
Emily Hampshire was born on August 29, 1981 in Montreal, Canada. She began her career in the mid 1990s, having made her television debut in Are You Afraid of the Dark? in 1994. In 1998, she gained recognition for her starring role in Boy Meets Girl. She has since appeared in other films like The Life Before This, Posers and Twist.
She then received further notice for playing Vivienne Freeman in 2006’s Snow Cake, followed by the movies It’s a Boy Girl Thing and Good Neighbors, among others. Being also active on television, she is best known for her role as Celery in Rookie Blue, Jennifer Goines in 12 Monkeys and Stevie Budd in Schitt’s Creek.
