Erika Kaar was born on 3 October 1988 in Poland. Her acting career started in 2014. This was when she made her television debut on the British-Polish television drama The Passing Bells. She played Joanna, the love interest of one of the main characters. She next appeared on the Polish series Blondynka.

She was next cast as one of the main characters on the Polish television series Az po sufit!. She went on to begin a career in Bollywood. This was when Ajay Devgn cast her as one of the lead roles in the Hindi movie Shivaay. She starred alongside Ajay Devgn himself and Sayyeshaa Saigal.
