Biography:

Erin Krakow was born on September 5, 1984 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, United States. She attended New York’s Juilliard School where she got her drama training. She then started her professional acting career performing on stage. In 2010, she made her screen debut playing the role of Specialist Tanya Gabriel in the Lifetime series Army Wives. After this, she had a role in the TV movie Chance at Romance and had a one-time role in Castle.

Her first starring role on television came as Elizabeth Thatcher in the Hallmark series When Calls the Heart, a role she has been playing since 2014. It has since gained her popularity. She has also starred in the TV film A Cookie Cutter Christmas and played the female lead in the TV film series, Father Christmas. Additionally, she’s made guest appearances in NCIS: Los Angeles, NCIS, and Good Girls Revolt.
