Eugene Levy is a Canadian actor/writer/producer whose career spans decades starting in the 1970s. He first became known for starring in the sketch comedy show SCTV from 1976 to 1984. Later in 1999, he became further known for his role as Noah Levenstein in the comedy film American Pie, a role he has since reprised in all the sequels. He’s also starred in the movies The Ladies Man, Josie and the Pussycats, Dumb & Dumberer: When Harry Met Lloyd, and Cheaper by the Dozen 2, among others. On TV, he starred as Gordon Schermerhorn in ABC’s Hiller and Diller and Gil Bender in Fox’s Greg the Bunny. Levy then starred as Johnny Rose in the sitcom Schitt’s Creek. For his role here, he was nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series.
