Faith Ford is an American actress. She debuted as a series regular in the soap opera One Life to Live in 1983. She next played the role of Julia in another soap opera, Another World. A few years later, she made her big-screen debut in the film You Talkin’ to Me? Ford’s fame came after landing the role of Corky Sherwood in the CBS sitcom Murphy Brown, which garnered her several major television awards, including the Emmy and Golden Globe for her performance. In the late 1990s, she starred as the lead in Maggie Winters, as well as joined the main cast of The Norm Show. From 2003 to 2006, she starred as Hope Shanowski in the sitcom Hope & Faith. Following this, she starred as Leila Brooker in the short-lived show Carpoolers. She’s also starred in such films as Beethoven’s 5th and The Pacifier.
