Indian actor Farhan Akhtar had his career beginnings as an actor with the 2008 film Rock On, which he also wrote and produced. For his performance, he won the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut. As producer, he was awarded the National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Hindi. He was also nominated for the Filmfare Award for Best Film.

He next starred in the films Luck by Chance and Karthik Calling Karthik. In 2011, the actor starred in the movie Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara. His acting in the film was well-received, winning the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor. As a producer of the film, he also won the Filmfare Award for Best Film and Filmfare Critics Award for Best Film. As writer, he won the Filmfare Award for Best Dialogue.

Akhtar continued to receive praise for his acting. In 2013, he starred in the film Bhaag Milkha Bhaag. For his performance, he won the Filmfare Award for Best Actor. Subsequently, he starred in the movies Shaadi Ke Side Effects, Dil Dhadakne Do, Wazir, Rock On 2, Daddy, and Lucknow Central. This year, he starred in the films The Fakir of Venice and The Sky Is Pink. He’ll star and produce the upcoming film Toofan.

Farhan Akhtar won Best Actor at the Filmfare Awards for his portrayal of athlete Sardar Milkha Singh in the film Bhaag Milkha Bhaag. To prepare for this part, the actor upped his physical training to increase his physique. He also underwent a vigorous workout routine to improve his overall strength and agility. According to the actor’s trainer, he swore by lateral raise which helped him enhance his muscled shoulders. He also regularly did 15 sets of front raises with dumbbells. The actor also trained consistently for 13 months to get the ultimate body.
