Biography:

Frankie Shaw was born on 11 November 1986 in Boston, Massachusetts, United States. After high school, she attended Barnard College. There, she earned a degree in literature. Following her college graduation, she decided to relocate to Los Angeles. Initially, she made her acting start in 2005. Her first TV role was in Law & Order: Criminal Intent while her first film role was in 2006’s Night Swimming.

She went on to have roles in the films Just Like the Son, Explicit Ills, Falling Up, and The Freebie. From 2010 to 2011, she gained recognition for her role as Mary Jo Cacciatore in the TV series Blue Mountain State. Her next starring role on the small screen was in the short-lived series Mixology. She next appeared as recurring character Shayla Nico in Mr. Robot, followed by her role as Naomi in Good Girls Revolt. In 2017, she started playing the lead in the show SMILF, which she also wrote, created and produced.
