Biography:

Freddie Highmore was born on February 14, 1992 in Camden, London, England, UK. He studies Spanish and Arabic at the University of Cambridge’s Emmanuel College. He started his acting career at the age of seven with minor roles on TV.

His acting debut was in the Scottish comedy film Women Talking Dirty. In 2004, he made his breakthrough for his portrayal of Peter Llewelyn Davies in Finding Neverland, for which he received a Broadcast Film Critics’ Award and a Screen Actors Guild Award nomination.

The following year, he gained worldwide fame as Charlie Bucket in Tim Burton’s Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. As of 2013, he stars as Norman Bates in the television series Bates Motel.
