Biography:
Freddie Prinze, Jr. was born on March 8, 1976 in Los Angeles, California. He was raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico and only returned to Los Angeles after high school to audition for television roles. He made his TV debut in Family Matters and got his major breakthrough in the 1997 movie I Know What You Did Last Summer. Subsequently, he starred in romantic comedies such as She’s All That and Down to You.
He continued his movie career in the 2000s with roles in Summer Catch, and portrayed Fred Jones in Scooby-Doo and its sequel Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed. His last role on the big screen was in Jack and Jill vs. the World in 2008. Presently, he works as a voice actor for the animated shows Robot Chicken and Star Wars Rebels. He has also had recurring roles in Boston Legal, Witches of East End, and Bones, as well as played the title character on the short-lived series Freddie, for which he also served as the writer and producer.
