Biography:
Freddie Stroma was born on 8 January 1987 in London, England. During his teens, he joined National Youth Theatre. In 2006, he started appearing on television, initially on such shows as Casualty and Mayo. Later in 2008, he made his big screen debut in the film Lady Godiva. His breakout role was as Cormac McLaggen in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. He reprised the part in the sequels Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1 and Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2.
After this, he starred in the films A Cinderella Story: Once Upon a Song, Pitch Perfect, After the Dark, Extraterrestrial, and The Inbetweeners 2. He then became further known for starring as Adam Cromwell in the TV series Unreal. Stroma also played Dickon Tarly in an episode of Game of Thrones. In 2017, he portrayed H. G. Wells in the ABC series Time After Time. More recently, he had notable recurring roles in Grand Hotel and Bridgerton.
