Indian actress Freida Pinto had her career beginnings in the late 2000s, playing Latika in the 2008 acclaimed movie Slumdog Millionaire. With the worldwide fame of the movie, this also catapulted the actress to fame. In the 2010s, she landed more starring roles in Hollywood. This started with Woody Allen’s You Will Meet a Tall Dark Stranger.
She then starred opposite James Franco in Rise of the Planet of the Apes. She went on to play the lead star in the drama feature Trishna, as well as starred in the Hollywood film Immortals. In 2014, she starred in the British film Immortals and appeared in Terrence Malick’s Knight of Cups. Her next movie was in Blunt Force Trauma. She has upcoming films this year, including Mowgli and Love Sonia.
The 34-year-old actress stays in shape by being mindful of what she puts into her body. Though she doesn’t follow a specific diet, she tries her best to focus on eating clean and well-rounded foods. In an interview with Vogue, she revealed: “I don’t follow a fixed diet. I change things up but I always try to eat in moderation and avoid sugar and white flour as much as I can. My guilty indulgences are chocolate fondant and butterscotch pot de crème.”
When she’s traveling, she’s also trying her best to stick to a moderate eating habit. She said: “Water, water and more water! More than what you think you need because the extent of dehydration is unimaginable. Also try not to eat too much on the plane. It is important to have light meals; the air pressure hinders digestion, you don’t want to be overeating.”
