Biography:
Geena Davis was born on January 21, 1956 in Wareham, Massachusetts. She finished a degree in drama from Boston University. In 1982, she made her film debut in Tootsie. The following year, she made her first television appearance in Knight Rider. Her first starring role was as Wendy Killian in the show Buffalo Bill. In 1985, she portrayed the titular character in the series Sara.
She later gained mainstream recognition for starring in the films The Fly and Beetlejuice. The following decade, she starred in the films Thelma & Louise, A League of Their Own, Angie, and Stuart Little. From 2000 to 2001, she played the lead in the show The Geena Davis Show. Her next starring role on TV was in Commander in Chief. From 2014 to 2014, she played Dr. Nicole Herman in Grey’s Anatomy.
