George Newbern is an American actor. He’s also a prolific voice actor. He’s been acting since the 1980s, debuting in the miniseries The Blue and the Gray. Later, he made his first movie role in 1986’s My Little Girl. His first starring role on TV was as Everett Rutledge in the NBC sitcom Working Girl. He next played Bryan MacKenzie in the film Father of the Bride. He reprised his role in the sequel Father of the Bride Part II. Later, he played Dr. Scott Frank in Chicago Hope and Danny in Friends. In 2000, he starred as Robert “Ditto” Roberts III in the TNT series Bull, after which he starred as Owen Frank in the NBC show Providence. More recently, he plays Dr. Al Pollack in Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.
