Biography:

Gillian Jacobs was born on October 19, 1982 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, U.S. She started acting at the age of eight, and attended acting classes Pittsburgh Playhouse while growing up.

She then attended The Juilliard School where she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in 2004. Two years later, she landed her first television role as Adele Congreve in The Book of Daniel.

In 2009, she gained wider recognition after being cast as Britta Perry in the television series Community. Her film work includes Gardens of the Night, Blackbird, Choke, The Box, Let Go and Helena from the Wedding, among others.
