Biography:
Giovanni Ribisi was born on December 17, 1974 in Los Angeles, California. He made his professional acting debut in 1985 as a child actor. His first notable role was as Duffy Guthrie on the television series The New Leave It to Beaver, which he played from 1985 to 1989. He next starred as Cory Kupkus on the TV show My Two Dads from 1987 to 1990. He continued his career in the 1990s, starring as Skinner Buckley on Davis Rules and as Jeff Bilings on The Wonder Years.
In the mid-1990s, he started acting in movies such as in That Thing You Do!, SubUrbia, Lost Highway, and The Postman. He also played T-5 Medic Irwin Wade in Saving Private Ryan. He was the narrator in the film The Virgin Suicides. In the 2000s, he starred in the movies Boiler Room, Gone in 60 Seconds, Lost in Translation, Cold Mountain, and Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow. In the 2010s, he starred as Warner Whittemore on the sitcom Dads. As of 2015, he stars as the lead in the TV series Sneaky Pete.
