Biography:

Hale Appleman was born on January 17, 1986 in New York City, New York, United States. He attended Carnegie Mellon University. He began his acting career performing on stage. In 2006, he made his film debut in Beautiful Ohio. The following year, he starred as Toby in the independent film Teeth.

Most of his work as a movie actor was in independent films. In 2012, he made his first television appearance in an episode of Smash. He later gained mainstream recognition for playing Eliot in the TV series The Magicians. He’s been part of the show’s main cast since 2015. His latest work in the movies was in 2015’s The White Orchid.
