Biography:

Hayden Christensen was born on April 19, 1981 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. He started acting in Canada in the 1990s with guest spots in such TV shows as Forever Knight and Are You Afraid of the Dark?. In 1995, he made his big screen debut in the movie In the Mouth of Madness. In the late 1990s, he appeared in the films The Virgin Suicides and Free Fall.

In 2001, he was critically praised for his performance as Sam Monroe in the movie Life as a House, for which he received a Golden Globe nomination for Best Supporting Actor. The following year, he rose to worldwide stardom for his portrayal of Anakin Skywalker in Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones, a role he reprised in Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith. In the late 2000s, he starred in Jumper and New York, I Love You. In 2014, he starred in American Heist and Outcast.
