Biography:

Hayley Kiyoko was born on April 3, 1991 in Los Angeles, California. She started acting at an early age, appearing in national commercials for such companies as Slim Jim and Cinnamon Toast.

After graduating from high school, she was accepted to attend Clive Davis School of Recorded Music at New Jersey University. She, however, declined to focus on her career.

In 2007, she made her first television appearance in an episode of Unfabulous. Two years after, she was cast as Velma Dinkley in the TV movie Scooby-Doo! The Mystery Begins, reprising her role in its sequel, Scooby-Doo! Curse of the Lake Monster.
