Heather Locklear was born on September 25, 1961 in Los Angeles, California, USA. She studied at the University of California, Los Angeles and while there, she started modeling and doing commercials.

She first gained recognition as Sammy Jo Dean-Carrington in the television series Dynasty. She continued to obtain prominence on television when she landed the role of Officer Stacy Sheridan in T.J. Hooker.

From 1993 to 1995, she starred as Amanda Woodward in Melrose Place. In addition, some of her notable films include Money Talks, Uptown Girls, The Perfect Man, Flirting with Forty and Scary Movie 5, among others.
