Hélène Joy is an Australian-Canadian actress. Her acting career started in the mid-1990s. During her beginnings, she had roles in the television shows The Man from Snowy River, Water Rats, Big Sky, and Blue Heelers, among others. Her first starring role on the small screen was in the short-lived series An American in Canada. She later became known for playing Audrey Sweeney in Durham County. Simultaneously, she landed the role of Dr. Julia Ogden in Murdoch Mysteries. Her most recent role in the movies was in 2016’s Sadie’s Last Days on Earth. She’s also joined the main cast of the show Detentionaire.
