Henry Winkler is an American actor and comedian. His breakout role was as Arthur “Fonzie” Fonzarelli in the sitcom Happy Days. For his work here, he was awarded two Golden Globe Awards. He also received three Primetime Emmy Award nominations for the Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series category. In 1977, he starred in the drama film Heroes, for which he got a Golden Globe nomination for Best Actor.
He was also praised for his role in the 1982 film Night Shift. In the 1990s, he had roles in the films Scream and The Waterboy. He went on to have performances in the movies Holes and Click. He continued his TV career in the 2000s, starring as Barry Zuckerkorn in Arrested Development. From 2010 to 2016, he starred as Sy Mittleman in Childrens Hospital, as well as played Eddie R. Lawson in Royal Pains. Since 2018, he plays Gene Cousineau in the HBO series Barry.
