Hong Chau is an American actress whose career began in the late 2000s. She first appeared in an episode of The Sarah Silverman Program. She next appeared in an episode of How I Met Your Mother. Chau’s first notable role was as Spc. Wing in the web series Trenches. From 2011 to 2013, she became known for her role as Linh in Treme. The following year, she made her cinematic debut in 2014’s Inherent Vice. At the same time, she starred as Lora in the short-lived series A to Z. In 2017, she played recurring character Jackie in Big Little Lies, as well as portrayed Ngoc Lan Tran in the film Downsizing. She recently had performances in the films Duck Butter, Driveways, and American Woman. She also played Audrey Temple in the Amazon series Homecoming and Lady Trieu in HBO’s Watchmen.
