Biography:
Hugh Grant was born on September 9, 1960 in Hammersmith, London, England. After securing a scholarship, he began attending New College, Oxford where he made his film debut in 1982’s Privileged, which was sponsored by the school’s film foundation. His breakthrough, however, came several years later with the 1994 film Four Weddings and a Funeral.
This led him to star in other well-known feature films, teaming up with some of Hollywood’s prominent actresses such as in Notting Hill with Julia Roberts, Bridget Jones’s Diary with Renée Zellweger, Two Weeks Notice with Sandra Bullock and Music and Lyrics with Drew Barrymore. Other successful films are Sense and Sensibility and Love Actually.
