Bollywood and Telugu actress Ileana D’Cruz entered the film industry in the mid 2000s. Her first movie was in the Telugu film Devadasu. For this she won the Filmfare Awards South for Best Female Debut. Around the same time, she starred in another Telugu feature Pokiri. Also, she made her debut in the Tamil cinema with Kedi. The rest of the 2000s saw her star in mostly Telugu films. In the 2010s she made her Bollywood debut. Her first Hindi movie was Barfi!. She won the Best Female Debut at the Filmfare Awards for this. She also received a Best Supporting Actress nomination. This was followed by other Hindi films like Main Tera Hero, Happy Ending and Rustom.
The 29-year-old actress maintains her fit body and healthy self by observing proper nutrition. Of course she also incorporates this into her eating habits. She believes in the importance of good nutrition. Attaining a healthy body is not all about fitness, it’s all about eating right as well. For this reason, she makes sure that she mostly eats healthy foods. She focuses on consuming nutritious foods that have the essential vitamins and minerals that her body needs. She generally stays away from processed and junk foods. She also avoids oily and fried foods.
In an interview, the actress said of her eating habits: “I love to eat. I have four to five small meals a day to keep my metabolism going.” In the morning, she already starts her day right. She has fruit juice followed by two poached eggs with two slices of whole wheat bread. The same thing goes for lunch. She eats something healthy which are 2 chapatis, chicken or fish, and a vegetable such as cauliflower with Dal. In the evening, she eats the same thing as she has for lunch. She sometimes indulges her cravings. But she only does so in moderation.
