Biography:

Imogen Poots was born on June 3, 1989 in Queen Charlotte’s and Chelsea Hospital, Hammersmith, London. She was accepted at the Courtauld Institute of Art in 2008 but deferred for two years to pursue acting.

Her first television appearance was as Alice Thornton in the television series Casualty. In 2006, she had a small but a substantial role in V for Vendetta. The following year, she starred as Tammy Harris in 28 Weeks Later.

She has since starred in other motion pictures including Jane Eyre, Fright Night, Comes A Bright Day, Greetings from Tim Buckley, Filth, and The Look of Love, among others.
