Biography:
Irrfan Khan was born on January 7, 1967 in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. While he was studying for his MA degree, he obtained a scholarship to attend National School of Drama in New Delhi in 1984.
He began his acting career when he moved to Mumbai and appeared in several television shows. His breakthrough came in the 1990s when he starred in the critically acclaimed films Ek Doctor Ki Maut and Such a Long Journey.
He also became known for his roles in English-language films, including The Namesake, Slumdog Millionaire, The Amazing Spider-Man, and Life of Pi.
