Isabel Durant was born on 20 December 1991 in Sydney, Australia. She has built her career on dancing and acting. In 2007, she made her film debut in Razzle Dazzle: A Journey into Dance. Years later, she competed in the reality dance competition So You Think You Can Dance Australia.

Following this, she gained wider recognition for starring as Grace Whitney in the Australian teen drama Dance Academy. After this, she made guest appearances in Reef Doctors and Camp. She went on to star as Ondina in Mako: Island of Secrets. More recently, she pursued a career in the US, first appearing in an episode of the NBC drama This is Us. In 2018, she appeared in the Hollywood film Life Itself.
