Ja Rule is an American rapper, singer and actor. He started his recording career in 1999 with the release of his debut album Venni Vetti Vecci. Between 1999 and 2005, his collaborations with other artists garnered him wider popularity. This includes “Between Me and You” with Christina Milian, “Ain’t It Funny” with Jennifer Lopez, and “Always on Time” with Ashanti. His albums Rule 3:36 (2000) and Pain Is Love (2001) also topped the US Billboard 200. As an actor, he debuted in the 2000 film Turn It Up. He next appeared as Edwin in The Fast and the Furious. He later played Agent Thompson in Scary Movie. This was followed by a supporting role in Assault on Precinct 13. He recently released his eight album Twelve in 2019.
