Biography:
Jackie Chan was born on April 7, 1954 in Victoria Peak, Hong Kong. He first appeared in John Woo’s 1976 film Hand of Death, where he was spotted by film producer Willie Chan and offered him the lead role in his new film New Fist of Fury.
In 1978, he made his breakthrough in the film Snake in the Eagle’s Shadow. Two years later, he made his Hollywood debut in the Battle Creek Brawl, followed by a minor role in the box-office hit The Cannoball Run.
He finally found success in the North American market in 1995 with the success of his film, Rumble in the Bronx.
