Biography:

Jade Thirlwall was born on December 26, 1992 in South Shields, Tyne and Wear, England. She participated in multiple local singing contests when she was a student. She also studied at the Steps Dance & Fitness, South Shields, Tyne & Wear when she was 15.

She then auditioned for the reality television show The X Factor twice before in 2008 and again in 2010 but failed to proceed. In 2011, she auditioned again for the third time and finally made it.

She was put together with other female contestants, forming Little Mix and becoming the first group to win the competition. After their victory, they were signed with Simon Cowell’s record label Syco Records.
