Biography:

Jake Lacy was born on February 14, 1985 in Greenfield, Massachusetts, U.S.. He finished his degree from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts. He went to New York after graduating and worked various jobs while auditioning. He made his screen debut on the soap opera Guiding Light.

In 2010, he landed his first main role on the sitcom Better with You. The show was cancelled after one season. He then became known for his role as Pete Miller on The Office. He went on to play Max in the film Obvious Child. He recently had a recurring role as Fran Parker on the HBO series Girls. He also recently starred in the romantic comedy How to Be Single.
