James Caan

James Caan is an American actor. He first gained attention in the 1960s with roles in such films as The Glory Guys, El Dorado, and The Rain People. His role in The Glory Guys also got him a Golden Globe nomination. After starring in the 1971 film Brian’s Song, Caan starred as Sonny Corleone in The Godfather, for which he received an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor. He next starred in the films Cinderella Liberty, The Gambler, Freebie and the Bean, and Rollerball, among others. In the 1990s, he starred in such films as Misery, For the Boys, Eraser, and Bottle Rocket. From 2003 to 2008, he starred as Ed Deline in the TV series Las Vegas. His latest film role was in 2018’s Out of Blue.
