James Denton is an American actor. In 1993, he made his acting debut in the film Thieves Quartet. His next role was in the movie Hunter’s Moon two years later. In 1996, he had his first TV role in an episode of Sliders. He later acted in the films That Old Feeling and Face/Off. He then became known for starring as Mr. Lyle in the TV series The Pretender. In the 2000s, he first starred as Judge Augustus Ripley in the short-lived show Philly. It was, however, his role as Mike Delfino in Desperate Housewives that brought him fame. As of 2015, he stars as Dr. Sam Radford in Good Witch. He also played Peter Hudson in some episodes of Devious Maids.
