Biography:

James Lafferty was born on July 25, 1985 in Hemet, California, U.S. He attended the California State University, Long Beach but moved to Wilmington, North Carolina after he was cast in One Tree Hill.

He made his debut with a voice role in the television movie Annabelle’s Wish in 1997. He then made his television debut in 2001 with his role as Michael Scott in an episode of Boston Public.

He has since appeared in other shows including First Monday, Get Real, and starred in the television film A Season on the Brink. His breakout role was as Nathan Scott in the teen drama One Tree Hill, which he played from 2003 to 2012.
