Biography:

James Maslow was born on July 16, 1990 in New York City, New York, U.S. He started training as a singer at age six when his parents placed him in the San Diego Children’s Choir.

In 2008, he made his screen debut in an episode of iCarly. The following year, he made his breakthrough as James Diamond in Big Time Rush. He also became a member of the boy music group with the same name.

He then went on to gain wider recognition after being cast as Ricky Adams in the series See Dad Run. He played the role as a guest star from 2012 to 2013.
