Biography:
Jami Gertz was born on October 28, 1965 in Chicago, Illinois, USA. She was discovered by writer and producer Norman Lear in a nationwide talent search.
She made her film debut in the 1981 romance movie Endless Love. The following year, she starred as Muffy Tepperman in the TV series Square Pegs.
She gained wider attention for her supporting roles in such films as Less Than Zero, The Lost Boys, and the 1996 blockbuster Twister.
In 2000, she played Kimmy Bishop in Ally McBeal, for which she was nominated for an Emmy for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy Series.
