Janel Moloney is an American actress. She started her acting career in the late 1980s, though she only became active during the 1990s. In 1993, she made her film debut in Dream Lover. She later had roles in the movies ‘Til There Was You, Wild Bill, and Desperate Measures. Moloney gained mainstream recognition for her role as Donna Moss in The West Wing, which she starred in from 1999–2006. For her performance, she was nominated for the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series twice in 2002 and 2004. While on the show, she also starred in the film Bang Bang You’re Dead. In the 2010s, she starred as Mary Jamison in The Leftovers. This year, she played Sally Morrison in the miniseries The Undoing.
