Hollywood celebrity Janel Parrish had her career beginnings in the late ’90s with her debut on Baywatch. She next guest starred on other TV shows. This includes The O’Keefes, The Bernie Mac Show, Zoey 101, and The O.C. Her first recurring role was as May on Heroes. She made her big screen debut playing a starring role in the film Bratz. She has since appeared in the movies Fired Up!, April Showers, and Triple Dog. From 2010 to 2017, she became know for her role as Mona Vanderwaal on Pretty Little Liars. While on the show, she starred on the TV movie High School Possession. She also appeared as Savannah in the independent film Celeste and Jesse Forever.

Janel takes care of her fitness and overall health with the food she eats. Generally though, she doesn’t follow any specific diets. She’s also not into fad diets that seem to be getting more popular among celebrities in Hollywood. She loves her body by being confident and by just doing the basic, which is eating a healthy and a well-rounded diet. She also doesn’t impose very severe limitations to herself since she allows herself to indulge in her cravings from time to time.

The actress believes that eating is not only for her body, but also for her mental health. Hence, she doesn’t allows herself to be pressured by the unrealistic standards of beauty in Hollywood, which drives many actresses to undergo unhealthy diet fads just to lose weight. The Pretty Little Liars actress doesn’t believe in those things. She maintains her confidence by believing in her beauty and herself. She doesn’t get swayed by other people’s expectations and standards of how she must look. Basically, her secret to having a lean and a healthy body is by eating in moderation, though she shares how she can’t get enough of Kozo Sushi.
