Hollywood actress January Jones had her beginnings in the late 1990s. She made her film debut in 1999’s It’s the Rage. Her first TV appearance was in the pilot episode of Get Real. In the 2000s, she first landed roles in pilots. She later starred in the TV film Love’s Enduring Promise. She later appeared in the films Anger Management, Full Frontal, American Wedding, Love Actually, Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights and We Are Marshall.
She got her break on the small screen after landing the role of Betty Draper in Mad Men. The show was highly acclaimed and the actress herself also earned nominations. This includes a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series. While on the show, she starred in the films Unknown and portrayed Emma Frost in X-Men: First Class. As of 2015, she stars the role of Melissa Chartres in the series The Last Man on Earth.
The 40-year-old actress stays fit by trying her best to get her body moving. In an interview, she, however, admitted to being not a fan of working out. She said: “I’m going to be very honest about this answer, which is I have never exercised in my life. I don’t like exercising. My dad was a trainer, so it was like a way for punishment.”
So, the question is – how does she keep herself fit all these years? She said: “Recently, in January, I started doing Cardio Barre and I’ve been loving it. And the only complaints I have is that I’ve gained weight, but it’s fine. I feel better. I feel stronger. It’s muscle, obviously. I gained weight, but I feel tighter and more energetic, and exercising is legit.” She went on to say: “The only other time I consistently exercised was when I did prenatal yoga.”
