Biography:

Jason Aldean was born on February 28, 1977 in Macon, Georgia, USA. At the age of 21, he moved to Nashville, Tennessee to pursue a career in country music. He then secured a recording deal with Broken Bow Records.

His first single, “Hicktown”, was released in 2005 and served as the lead-off to his first album, Jason Aldean. It peaked at Number 10 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs charts. The album also generated his first Number 1 hit “Why”.

Two years after, he released his second album Relentless. It spawned the singles “Johnny Cash” and “Laughed Until We Cried”. He then went on to release his third album Wide Open in 2009 where it debuted at Number 2 on the country charts.
